Tributes have poured in following the death of a very well known and respected Roscommon man in recent days. Jimmy Murray, Ganaveens, Rahara, passed away on Saturday, June 3rd, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family and friends. The late Mr Murray was a prominent member of the local IFA and Roscommon Mart. Among the condolences, St Dominic’s GAA Club and St Aidan’s GAA Club offered their deepest sympathies to the Murray family. Praised as a kind, generous, true friend, he will be remembered as a skillful businessman, and a top class farmer, who selflessly served on local and national committees and organisations.
